Where can I get a 12v waterpump to use in a solar water heating system. (It must pump less than 1 litre/min?

This pump will be powered directly by an electrical solar panel, for the system to work the pump must move between .5 & 1 litre a minute

Use the small pump from the windshield washer. It works from the cars battery, so it should work off your solar panel. I’m not sure how much it puts out per minute, but it can’t be much.

I am not certain of its capacity but have you considered a water pump from a car? You could probably pick one up at a junkyard for next to nothing and retro fit it for your application. It would run on 12v DC. Either that or try the Grainger catalog.

Water pump from a car won’t work because it is mechanical not electric. You need one a bilge (sp?) water pump or sump pump like the ones used for boats. This kind will be electric and run on 12 volts. It will sit on the ground. You should be able to find one at a marina or possibly at Walmart.

You may be looking at more volume than a bilge pump or windshield washer pump can deliver. I suggest going to a farm supply such as Tractor Supply Co. and looking at the pump on sprayers whih are used for insecticide.
There are quite a variety of insecticide sprayers with a wide range of capacities. Most of them are mounted on samll trailers to tow behind lawn and garden tractors. If you have 120v available you can use a circulation pump from hot water heating systems. You can always restrict the volume by installing a throttleing valve in the line.
